I first experienced volleyball in 5th grade when I joined the team at St. Dominic Catholic School. Since then, I have continued to pursue and be involved in the sport, including playing at UNO Volleyball Club for 4 years and coaching.

Throughout my time with the sport, I realized that volleyball is as much of a mental game as a physical one. There will be times where you don't play your best or fall out of love with the sport for a bit, but it's what you do after to pick yourself up again that counts.

You build a community that you can not only trust and make connections with, but also has the same passion for the sport. That is why I enjoy volleyball
